How does the snuffle mat or lick mat actually tire my dog out?

Sniffing and licking are mentally demanding for dogs. Foraging is hard work for their mind, even when their body is standing still. Ten or fifteen minutes of it is a proper job for them. Try it after dinner and see how your own dog is afterwards.

Is this safe for aggressive chewers?

These are feeders and puzzles, not chew toys, and they're meant for supervised use. If your dog tends to shred fabric or chew through silicone, stay with them during use and put the toy away between sessions. Never let a dog chew pieces off and swallow them.

How do I clean everything?

Snuffle mat: machine wash, air dry. Lick mat: top-rack dishwasher, or warm soapy water. Slow feeder: hand wash only, in warm soapy water.

What do I put on the lick mat?

Peanut butter (xylitol-free only, because xylitol is toxic to dogs), plain yogurt, wet food, mashed banana, or plain pumpkin. Freeze it for a longer-lasting session.

Where do you ship from and how long does it take?

We process orders in 1–3 business days, and because our products are made and shipped by our overseas makers, delivery then takes about 10–20 business days (2–4 weeks). You'll get tracking by email so you can follow it the whole way. We know that's slower than a big marketplace. We'd rather be honest about it than surprise you.

My kit arrived in more than one package. Is something missing?

Probably not! Our kit items come from different makers, so the Boredom Buster Kit may arrive as two or three separate packages, each with its own tracking number, and they don't always arrive on the same day. If one piece shows up first, the rest are on the way. If everything hasn't arrived within a few days of your last tracking update, email us at cs@busydogsupply.com and we'll sort it out.

Why does shipping take 2–4 weeks?

We work directly with the makers rather than a big domestic warehouse, which keeps prices fair and lets us carry the specific enrichment gear we believe in. The tradeoff is a longer journey to your door.

What if my dog doesn't like it?

Some dogs need a few tries, so start easy and let them win fast. If it's still not for you, email cs@busydogsupply.com within 30 days of delivery and we'll make it right with a refund, a replacement, or store credit. No need to ship anything back. If something arrived damaged, a photo helps us sort it out quickly. The refund policy has the details.
